hey guys i finally got my new eg hatch . i padi 1600 for it it is a cx model and in great condition with a stock mtor that runs haha. but i already have a swap ready for it. i actually picked up that jdm b18c type r swap for 1500 bux with the lsd tranny. i cant wait to drop it in. heres a pic of the car.

1500 is way cheap for an itr motor!! especially including the tranny!! d00d be careful with that ****... u can get busted nice for that sorta ****..... good luck!

naw u guys see there are sum problems with this motor. it has a lot of mileage my freind had sum problems with it and decided to go with a 99 gsr swap instead. so he let me get it for cheap even though he paid close to 3000 shipped. when it was in his car it was smoking kinda bad and when u got on it u could see oil kinda spitten outta the tail pipe . like when it was even idling after abot 10 min u would see oil like residue on the driveway right where the tailpipe was. instead of tryin to take it apart and rebuild it with new pistons and rods.he wanted a newer motor that was more reliable with only about 15,000 miles on it. he had this motor for over a year and i know he ragged it out. but i really wanted it anyways. so i guess b4 i drop it in i might have a compression test run on it. im not good at actual motor work. i cant even take a head off. so im gona have to drop it off at shop. so no i didnt thieve this motor guys. i read on here all the time about peopel getting thir cars stolen and my sympathy is with them my 99 civic si was stolen from me right in front of my house and i ended losing money on it from the insurance company. so i know how they feel. i pay for all my stuff fair and square.

wow this is ****... the EG+ forum is congragulating somebody for getting a dirt cheap ITR motor. I cant presume its stolen just because its a jdm one as this guy says, but still not even Ichima San gets b18c spec-R's for $1500!!

man i cant beleive this. i was tryin to share my joy of my new project and imediately im blamed for stealing sumones stuff. i can understand paying out the azz for itr setups for 3000-4000 like u guys do but u guys are buying from shops and stores and those motors u get are probably in really good condition. the setup i got is ragged out and has high milage. i would never pay 3000-4000 for it when i know its been ragged on and is smokin the way it does. i think i payed a fair price for the swap. alhtough i know its gonna involve a little more work to it to make it run right. i figure ill pay at least another 1000 on parts and labor and still in the end will only be paying about 2500 for the swap. i know it sond cheap but thats only cuz i got it from my freind after he pulled it outta his car. if you guys want to keep blaming me for stealing then whatever. i thought this forum was a great and knowledgable place and i guess since im a newbie people are gonna not be very nice on here. cuz i didnt pay what they all did. its not like i got a brand new swap that runs perfect. thats what u gotta understand. its gonna need more work.

well since i am limited to 5 posts per 24 hours still, i guess i cant defend my self. u guys feel free to pick me clean . i really do give up. it seems as if everytime sumthing goes good i get brought down. i still cant beleive everyone is calling me a thief that is so not fair

Meeh whatever I think its a good deal for a motor that needs to be overhauled as long as the tranny is OK. I personally would rather buy one in this condition cause then you can build it how you want and maybe get some kind of warranty from a shop. Good deal and good luck.

Hey man, i wasn't accusing you of anything. Good deals do come along and for some people it is hard to believe. I gotten some things before that i knew were legit and if posted here, i would be accused of the same things you are. Don't worry about what everyone else thinks.

All i said is that is didn't sound right. After you explained it it makes a little more sence. Good deal, rebuild it and swap it in.

thank you guys. thats all i meant by my posts. i never stole anyones stuff. i am gonna have to do sum major work to this motor. but i would rather have new parts installed knowing that they are good u know. if i could get a brand new itr motor like all the rich people on here then i would but i cant afford 4000 grand for that. i saw my chance to have a itr motor what i have been wanting for ever and even though it needs work when i finish getting it over hauled then it should be good as new. and still not cost as much as a bran new swap like sum people on here got.. the tranny on the other hand its seemed fine the cluthc was slippen a little. and there were no grinds but then again he did power shift it all the time and im sure the synchros are gonna go out soon too. i realy want to keep the lsd but i dont know if the tranny will hold up as long as i want it too. i might end up triny to trade it for a newer less milage gsr tranny or delsol tranny

If i was you I would drop that motor off at a shop and just rebuild it...

don't worry about everybody, its commonplace to hear about stolen cars, and parts etc. good luck with your setup bro, be sure to rebuild it first, what are your plans?

if you want to save a little money, you coul part out the motor and buy a gsr swap. Maybe even do a strait trade with someone looking to do a hig or low compression rebuild.

sorry guys i cant post under my other name cuz i was a newbie but now i guess i have a temp name good for about 5 more posts lol. um thats not a bad idea about trading the motor i hae to think about that one.. i mean if i could find a good newer gsr setup the maybe but even good gsr setups with low miles are expensive. this motor i have has about 40k form japan already ontop of the 60k my bro put on it already and those were hard miles real hard... u know always redlining to 8000 alway gunnin it every where. it would be hard to do a straight up trade cuz the milage is so high and the motor is ragged. my only option to save moey is to to a low cost but effective rebuild. i dont think i could just trade the motor like that i thikn who ever i asked to trade me ould slap me for even tryin. well see though
