Re: just dynoed my car (jdmchop)
Im in CT too and i was wonderin about Pruven Performance. Is it a good shop? I only first heard about them in SCC and i was psyched they did so well. Did you have them tune your car while on the dyno? Good overall experience there?

131 with i/h/e safc and fpr? I guess you are not tuned that well. You should atleast have 140 to the wheels with that set up, unless your engine is tired.

i didn't know that you could convert the b18b to an auto. how much did it cost and was it a pain in the *** to do
there's no 'converting' to get it done.
131 WHP is very respectable for a b18b!
Good dyno

now i have a HUGE question for you....with all the debate of putting an auto Bseries motor into our civics...how does the motor fit? did you have to do any cutting??? i was seriously thinking about doing this but everyone i talked to said you had to basically C-notch the passenger subframe. and yes that was all from H-T.

not bad at all JDMchop.. I ran on my LS
123hp
114lbs torque
with just a Tanabe g power exhaust.. and a modified sohc distrubutor that made me run like 23 degrees of timing =P

Re: just dynoed my car (Nameless)
i think he means he put a block that was from an auto car in place of his 5 speed one he blew, and i think 130 horse to the wheels is very good considering there only 140 to the crank stock

good numbers
safc and FPR if not tuned might actually hurt your power.
stock b18b numbers are around = 115-122whp and 108-112lbs/ft of trque at the wheels

ok so lets clear this up is it an auto tranny or not? if the motor is out of an auto its not different than that from a manual car....everyone knows that. the difference is in the tranny....
i just want to know how this thing fits. i have heard it rubs alot if you dont cut the subframe. also, do you have any pics of this thing in the engine bay...id really like to see it and how it fits.
