Just did GSR swap and tranny side axle is 2 inch short??? CONFUSED!!!!
Just did my gsr swap in my 1994 civic coupe, and ive done plenty of these swaps before and theyve always fit perfectly without any problem. Has anyone had this problem before? I took the car the the exhaust shop and right as they were getting ready to put the car in, the axle on the passanger side popped out of the tranny side of the engine bay.
I bought another new axle just to make sure that i had the correct axle, and it still is 2 inches short.
Need help. Any suggestions?
Thanks

If its a new axle its going to look shorter but its not. Make sure you have the snap ring on the end, and make sure its the right one. Take a picture.

THanks for the one response! ends up the bearings were out, so the axle wouldnt sit inside.
