Re: just bought a 96 ek coupe, any faq's on dohc upgrades (Vero)
psh, front lip if you do any body work. Body kits are lame IMO. Too ricey. Factory spec body work looks much cleaner.
anyway, I'm doing all my pretty stuff to my new civic first, springs, struts, slipstreams, fogs, and front lip. Then I'm saving up for the motor. I probably wont do the motor until the car has reached 130k+ miles. It's got about 80k on it and no sense wasting a good motor. I'll drive it until i feel it's time and buy the motor.
that's my opinion. If you have low miles on it, drive it while adding suspension/wheels etc. until you are ready to make the swap.

do what he said thats a good idea if your motor runs fine and it has decents miles on it just use it and upgrade everything else then when you do that and you put more miles then swap that ish out

Depends on your budget and like the other guy said miles on engine. I make plenty of money and have a buyer for my D series motor so i opted for the motor first. Once that is done everything else is relatively inexpensive. Plus its hard to save for a motor when you are buying everything else. Do your research before making your desicion on a motor

^^^hah. But you're being an ***.
To the OP, run a search and get priorities straight. A car is a money pit, and whatever you do to your car, it will lose its value.

Dont buy a ******* body kit that **** is so ******* ricey. I have a ek coupe and the first thing i did was Si front lip, wheels, suspension, and a cat back. and now im where im about to buy another motor for it. but its your decision, i have alot of friends that would rather just go fast then have a good looking car. So do what ever you want
