I personally have never seen a CTR wing in person, well I have but not with if off the car. In a sense, Alex's wing is a CTR wing + adjuster bracket.
I have seen that wing on their website since they introduced it but never seen anyone with it on their car, not even the J's dealer have it. I guess expensive is one thing, but most people would still perfer OEM CTR or Spoon? (assume they do what they claim to do, provide down force).
I believe it is the same wing that S2K uses, just with a different bracket.

Re: J's Racing EK hatch carbon fiber wing (Nova_Dust)
If anyone watches Option Videos you will see that the EK's handling is improved VERY significantly with a good wing like this on a road course!!! They did a test with Orido in the Top Fuel EK9 with an without it. Without it the EK was a bit unstable in the corners, and with it, it was very stable. I agree its not the best looking thing, but if it is functional then it's a in my book!!!

Check the EK on this add. I has like a crazy wing, but for some reason it flows well, maybe it just the angle the pic was taken at.

C-West EK9 wing is 1300 dollars. Definitely up there for sure. But it looks like a 2 deck metal wing?
Edit: I think it is 200,000 Yan. Really up there.

The wing is not the same as the s2k. the js wings are actually a variety of different contours, endplates and widths.
Ill agree with some, on the EK, doesnt look AS good, as say a spoon wing, but if it works it works.

Re: (SpeedWerx.net)
Front wheel drive cars with rear wings is ******* retarded.
Way to add downforce (which you won't even achieve until 100+ mph) on the rear wheels of a car that needs downforce on the front.

I see. Sounds like you have seen one in person? Do you know the ball park price?

The one thing I hate worse than a cocky Focus or Cav owner is a VW one! If you post here in a Honda forum know what you are talking about before you take the time to mash some keys on your key board!
There are MANY Options videos that Prove that it is not about down force for "RWD" traction, but it provides alot of stability in a short body short wheel base FWD cars that act like lawn darts on a decent road course!
That's why my Corrado had a wing that raised up at 45 mph huh!

jdmitr, thanks for your comments.
I do know many people put form before function and think a wing will make the car not "flow" well or look stupid. I am mainly asking it from a functional perspective. If it works, it works.
But I am not putting anyone down for any disagreements. I am all for discussion.

Re: (Nova_Dust)
heh, rear downforce is VERRY important EVEN in a FWD car...the rear is very light and squirrelly and you want to add downforce to regulate that. around the corners, it can help the tires get more traction so they dont break out and start sliding
