J's Intake Question
I was visiting J's Intake for $69.99 shipped . They claim that the intake only fits 96-97 Civic's with a y8 manifold. My question is will the J's Intake fit my 99 d16y7 with a y8 manifold??
I want to buy it but the website says it's won't fit 99 Civics. Anybody know why it won't??

I didn't either, but it seemed as if the website was issuing a warning
and i forgot to add fake.... i know the real J's go for at least $200, but i'll try the fake, hell i can get just the tube on ebay for $9.99.... search under "big chamber intake" if you're interested

Re: (Typesi2nv)
back to the original question... i think it was because 99's had the y7 manifold (i.e. vertical throttle body).... but since yours is the y8, and is horizontal...
go for it *besides, i cant afford real real parts all the time*

Re: (shepworldwide)
i posted a link in my first post
$69.99 shipped...... but i hvae heard from people that have purchased it that the filter is junk, so if you search ebay for "big chamber intake" you can get the pipe itself for around $9.99 and slap a new filter on it
