Joined EG hatch crew today...advice on fixing front end damage please
Hello, happy to say i joined civic crew. The local scrap yard has a clip, so they're gonna cut wherever, and i'll cut/weld the new section. This'll be my dd project for a while so i want to do things right, basically not sure where to make the cuts and where to weld so everything fits. thanks for your advice. Also I'm wondering about fiberglass fenders and hood to save weight. Heres pics for reference.

you need a rad suport, bumper reinforcement and left apron.....Just drill out the spot welds that hold those parts in place.....No cutting.

that doesnt look that bad. just make sure after you get the radiator support you TEST FIT EVERYTHING before you even think of welding it down. i mean hood, fenders, bumper, headlights EVERYTHING. you dont want that think all cockeyed and fitting like **** now do you? didnt think so. trust me, test fitting everythign can save you so much time money and its less of a hassell in the long run.

good idea, so basically tack the parts and once everything visually fits properly, weld everything into place.

thatts not a bad idea, but just just dont put so many tacks on it that in the event its off you still save it and not have to sit there and grind off 50 tacks. start from the hood, because its a one fit deal there is not much room to move the hood around, then line up the radiator support and fenders then the bumper. if worst comes to worst, rout out the fender holes and push in/pull out the fender whichever way it needs to come to line up good with a good gap from the hood
