They are rear hatch side visors. I believe JDMLand used to sell them.

EDM part. They're called shark fins and are made of rubber. They're pretty heavy. Make sure you adhere them to the window correctly and check how they're mounted every so often to be sure they won't fly off on the highway.

I love mine! Not too many people run 'em...that's always a plus! I bought mine from the guys at JHPusa.

Would it look retarded if you painted them to match?

There's one big reason for buying things. In fact, it's the reason my car looks like what it looks like. I buy things because I want them. I don't care what anyone else says, save for perhaps my boyfriend since he might be able to offer some insight I hadn't thought of.

Yes, yes it would look retarded.

It's a textured rubber. It's not plastic. And they're CHUNKY. They're not thin at all. It'd look silly to paint them, and I could see the paint chipping easily.

What are they for? Are they like the rear sun visors for the sedans/coupes? Is it for blocking some of the light into the cabin. Im really curious

It's purely cosmetic. I have mine because I like how they look. End of story.
