JDM ITR front clip?? Worth the price????
Hey, somone I know is offering me a JDM ITR front clip, I was just wondering if its worth it.
Worth it to me means, resale factor, I have an EG and no use of this thing, I just think I can make some money from it. just wondering if you guys can help me make a choice.
Its a 97 CW front clip
Its a complete front clip, even includes front 2 wheels and suspenion, dash, cluster, all vents.
$6500 CAD
Is it worth me buying and trying to part out to sell it?

OK but let me make it clear, I'm not buying this to use it
I am buying it to resell and make some money on it.

If indeed $6500 CAD = $4900 USD then i think its a good buy, but remember do you have the time and resources to sell the parts, if you think you can put the labor and time to actually part it out, and afterwards find a place or person to sell some of it to then HELL YEAH do it, i know I sound hesitant but i'm just letting you know the deal before you rush into this thing.
OTHERWISE that is a deal and a half i mean the ITR engine alone is worth $5000 us dollars so i dunno your pick.....

If I lived in the US, I'd buy it in a sec, because I knwo people on this site dont lowball and they know how much this **** costs.
But up here in Canada, on the local forums, people are different, its hard to sell.
So my plan was to sell on this site, but shipping might be an issue, so thats the only thing holding me back.

I wouldnt even try to sell an engine on h-t. ebay is the only way for engines,
a lot more people will look on ebay then on honda-tech, and you dont have
to dick around with price, just set your reserve and see what happens.
shipping is a bit of an issue though. if you are serious about it call your local
freight shipping company and see about prices.

I just found out that the clip has 78,000 KM's on it.
Do you think people would still be interested in the motor?

JDM ITR motor = 4000 ~ 4500 CDN
JDM ITR complete front end conversion = 2000
off the bat, you are close to break even. Then everything else is just icing on the cake which will be your profit.
PS. prices are estimated.
