JDM ITR 4-1 header
Does the flange where the cat meets the header line up the same as the USDM header? The reason Im asking is because I need to get custom piping made for my JDM header and I dont know if I can get the piping done first, or if i should put the header on then bring it in for pipe fabrication.

no it will not line up, and youre going to need a flange that will accept the jdm itr 4-1 2.5" collector

yeah your either going to need a high flow cat that has a 2.5'' flange or have a test pipe made with a 2.5'' flange. I was in your boat as well and after going to a bunch of shops with no sucess I ended up buying a car sound high flow cat made specifically for my car with the jdm header.
I got it from Hybrid garage for 120 shipped, it fits beautiful.

Re: JDM ITR 4-1 header (v00tecsi)
Ok going along the same idea. I was thinking about putting a ITR header onto B16 but i keep reading that the header is a bit long b/c the ITR block is taller than the b16. With that in mind will the header scrap hardcore and i have too replace it quickly or will it just have reg. header wear n tear? In doing some research along HT someone said that matching a B16 to ITR header will lose torque, is there any truth to that? And lastly pitting the ITR header against normal aftermarket headers is paying more for the ITR (i have found about $100 difference) worth it? Sorry for jacking your thread, but figure to ask here then start a whole new thread.

Re: JDM ITR 4-1 header (El ToroFuerte)
I have the 4-1 JDM header on my b16a, and have not had any problems with scraping.

i had the DC JDM style with the 2.5" collector on my b16. i have a pretty mild drop (1-2 finger gap on 185/65/14 tires) and i wound up with 2 really gnarly gashes from daily driving. i had to get rid of it anyway cuz i need to ref my car. im proabably gonna go with a jdm 4->1 with skidplates later
