I see those on ebay once in a while, but you do have to do some cutting and welding to mount those, and they aren't cheap.

Hrmm, I would just rather strip out the back seats all together.

Yeah, seems like a waste of money, but to each his own.

Then you can leave your seats down all the time and floss your Miracle X Y Z x 4 bracing back there.

I could fit lawn mowers a LOT easier with those rear seats...

Sadly, I have used my Civic as a lawnmower carrier on several occasions.

I went from a 150 to a hatch, specifically for the reason that the hatch offered room to move stuff vs. a coupe or sedan. I think you'd be quite surprised to see some of the **** I've moved in my hatch

P.S. I have that rear interior and it is pretty rad.

A HUGE advantage of the hatch is the utility. Some of us use our cars for daily transportation and work. I carried a desk in my supercharged B18 hatch before I sold it. Yesterday, the guy who bought it carried away a Corbeau box with a seat in it. I looked over at my new Evo which is HUGE by comparison, and there was NO WAY I could have fit that box in my new car.

Hatches are great cars for more than weight and the way they look.

I carry everything in my hatch specially when I have to leave for college like 27" TV, table, ect.... I just sold my gocart and had to delivery it to the buyer it barely fitted back their but I made it fit. Whats the purpose of those cargo areas anyway? Are they special because they are JDM or something? just curious
