Hi i am new here. i have been reading HT for awhile now and just joined. I have a couple of ?'s. How do i bolt up a gsr tranny to my d15b block. And what dizzy do i use with my h23 head? What kind of numbers should i expect from this setup? I was tink about 300whp and about 325tq. Or should i just keep my hemi? i run 12.2 on slicks, and 11.4 on the bootle HELP ME PLeeeeesssee!!! i need my car running by the weekend so i can go racing.

Umm..sounds like you havent been reading long enough. I hope this is a joke but if not , I'll answer your ?s. 1. You can't bold a GSR tranny to a D series block. Period. 2. Use an H23 dizzy with your H23 head. 3. I would guess you are asking about an H23 head on a D15 block, so I will say 0 hp because it will never ever work. And lastly, Keep the Hemi if you want to drag race. 11.4 is going to be damn tough to attain in a FWD civic.

this not a joke, my friend did it to his car and it runs fine. he bought the car with the swap and we wanted to do it to my car. I like my hemi but want good gas mileage and vtec.

Umm...your friend DOES not have a H23 head on a D series block...simple as that. Does'nt matter what he was told. And I won't belive that you have a Hemi in a hatch (well we all have Hemi's, but not in the since you are talking about) either until there are pics of both.

BAN ^^^ I swear there is an influx of stupid here on HT lately. Neither of you have those swaps and I would love it if you would send my mom those pictures. She seems to know more about automobiles than you do.
