JDM gauge cluster problem. HELP!!!
Ok, so i recently bought a JDM gauge cluster for my 94 civic ex. Here's the problem.... My car came equipped with ABS and SRS. The JDM gauges don't have the connections for these two plugs but i figured that didn't matter. But than it snowed last night, so i took my car out to test my ABS. It didn't work!!! Does this mean my SRS(airbags) is not functional as well with this JDM cluster? Is there any way to make it so my ABS will work again or my SRS(with this cluster)? Do the JDM clusters even come with a spot for an ABS plug?!?!? need help please

what about if you switch the housings? like take out the gauges from the JDM cluster and put them in the usdm housing?

That's actually a good idea.....I don't see why it wouldn't work. That's what I would recommend. Good luck!

Re: JDM gauge cluster problem. HELP!!! (iSRT_Vtec)
if you still have your oem cluster, you need to take out the connector plugs from that cluster and clip them on your car side connectors.. in other words you need to have it plug it in order for them to work.
here is my jdm eg6 cluster with my oem srs switchout. and plugged from behind. and it works fine. i dont think there is an open slot for your abs on the jdm cluster. so just take out the actual chip board from your old cluster hook it up to the plug, and then put tape over the chip board and let it hang behind the cluster and it will work... it has to be plugged into its chip board for it to work. same goes for cruise control, which does fit in the back of the jdm cluster but you wont be able to see the light since theres no opening on the front.
