jdm eg foglights. i dont know shit about wiring stuff and i need help

jdm eg foglights. i dont know **** about wiring stuff and i need help
i have the wires running to the right spots. but there is a yellow wire that just hangs there. and the switch isnt working. but i can give the lights direct pwer from the battery and they work... so how do i wire them to the switch...?!?!?!?
