jdm b16 admissions in wa?
I'm posting for a friend of mine, he has a jdm b16 swap in his 96 cx and needs to run his car for emissions here in wa. My question is probably for the locals... what ecu would he need to use to run thru emissions because I guess he tried and it didn't read because the ecu he has now is the jdm one.
thanks in advance and hope to hear something soon.
edit: i meant emissions.

King county does an emissions check on every registered vehicle. That being said, it's just an idle and 3000 rpm emissions check. Has he tried it with the JDM ecu? If that doesn't work for some reason, just grab a USDM ecu and make sure the car is running well (new plugs, fuel filter, air filter, etc). The actual test is quick and only $15--it's absolutely not as thorough as the California BAR.
