like the topic says, i messed up my drivers side door, dont really want to say how i did it, its too embarrassing .
my question is should i buy a new door or just have them pull the dent out and weld the hinges back on. the door hinges are welded right? if so mine arnt anymore .
does anyone know how much a door would be new or used, also some fenders since this incidence made me think of just fixing everything and painting.

if i get some good answers ill tell you guys/gals the story of how i messed it up.thanks

the hinges aren't welded on, they're just bolted on. how big is the dent? if it's not too big you can just pull the dent out with a stud gun and use bondo to finish it off. now tell us the story .

need more than that to tell you the story , are you sure they are not welded after the bolts? cause mine dont even touch the body anymore

around here, at a JY a door ( no mirrors ) is 40 bucks, and they give you 2 dollars for the core.

the latch and door hinge will cost 5 bucks a piece

and a door panel will cost you 12.

junk yards are your friends, utelize them

oh yeah, and the fender will set you back 35 a piece.

now this door, how did you screw it up?? is it anything like what chris farley did with the mustang in tommy boy???

You can just get the dent pulled and buy some new or used hinges and they will bolt to your door then to your chassis.

Lemme guess you where jackin up ur car and it clipped and hit ur door and your car came down and the door caught the jack and tore it off the hinges?

okay heres the deal
mom and dad are moving **** out of the house, me and the girlfriend were gonna go watch a movie, so shes sitting outside in her car waiting for me, and i decide to run in the driveway and move my car so my parents dont have a hard time getting by, also i didnt want them to scratch the car so i hop in the car put it in reverse and drive and all of a sudden i hear a nasty sound and car started to get slower, so i was like what the ****, i look and to my surprise i left the door open and pulled the **** out of it, and this was on my neighbors house. my parents come out cause they heard it, and just stare. first thing i check was the door, weather strip inside was tore up, front molding poped off, drivers molding bent the **** up, drivers door ripped off hindges, door wont close cool thing is that my door can now open all the way because the metal thing that hooks it broke. the part that is dented is towards the front of the drivers side window. i was sooo today, and i know its my fault. ohh well **** happens at least it wasnt that bad
so now im here, i got the door to close but it doesnt line up, i guess its cause of the hinges are not touching the car.

p.s on me, i thought finding NEMO was aiight (girlfriends cant live with them, cant live without them, hopefully she helps me fix this mess)

positive. i took the doors off a 98 coupe before. take the fender off and look at it yourself. junkyards will charge you around 400-500 for a door. on ebay you can probalby find one for around 150 + sh. i've seen 2 si doors go for 250 + sh on ebay before. now that we have the story, we needs the pics to go along with it

i went and bought an EG door with 1-3 little dings for like 80 bucks like 3 weeks ago, with mirror and everything inside of it but it was manual windows and locks.

We had a car in my body shop come in looked just like from the insurance commercial. The girl pulled out her driveway backed out the garage went up the tree in the front yard and the car rolled over. Never heard of it in my life but the funiest story hearing her dad tell it. Ha
