it's eagle rods, je pistons, the block was cleaned at the machine shop when it was bored over, and i used super high temp engine enamel like the 1200+ degree stuff.

Yeah, i know, i'm gonna have to clean it every week.

Eagle for NA = Overkill and heavy

for one, eagle rods arent heavy... ever held one? for two, hes runnin 12.5:1 compression... i woudnt trust stock rods.

I fear detonation, hence, all good parts.

And yeah, the new piston/rods weigh less than old piston/rods.

yo.. thats clean stuff.. yeah, i have 10.5-1 SRP's in mine (Je's) with eagle rods.. and i got them cuz i sqeezz 100 shot.. but i would of prolly got them all motor too.. but for me.. to get my blocks real clean.. i go to home depot, and get graffiti remover, and let that sit on there about 2 hours each, and i do it like 2 or 3 times.. i have a 300degree steamcleaner too.. but that works liek a champ.
