I heard I will need to drill new holes, that it doesn't mount up at all right?

No, I've got one in my hatch. The holes are there, but you'll need to put washers and lock nuts underneath the shock tower since the holes in the EG don't have nuts welded to them.

No, I didn't have to pull the fender liners...the bolt holes are right near the shock towers, and I'm sure you don't have to pull the plastic liners to install shocks. I used bolts fed through the top of the shock tower and big washers (to reinforce the sheetmetal so it won't tear out) with lock nuts installed by reaching under the fender (of course, your car will need to be jacked up to do this). You'll probably need 2 people w/socket wrenches to do this.
