ITR rear sway bar on 98 ex?
So i searched and i see that i will need. The ITR rear sway bar, beaks reinforcement kit. What else will i need? Do i need some aftermarket LCA's? Are there any other miscellanious parts? How much have any of you payed for this setup on your 96-98 ex's?

NOPE! you do NOT need to drill holes in your LCA. All USDM civics from 96-00 come with the holes already in the LCAS! The ITR LCAs wont even fit! All you need is the sway bar, D brackets and bushings, beaks kit, and endlinks from a 99-00 Civic SI. Rick

Thanks! Thats what i thought, but i wasn't completely sure. how much do you think all of this will cost me? I know the beaks kit is like 65 and i think the sway bar should cost around 55 right? How much for the rest?

AH sorry the civic's here have no holes in them. U are going to have to get the ends of the sway bar filled with metal and welded then drill them out cause the hole is too big. On my car i had a rear bar on it from factory the ACURA 1.6EL its the same size as the GSR. Now i have the ITR rear and its awsome in the rain u can drift it easy. Good luck ill find the link for the post on CLUBSI

My 96 Civic EX had the marks where the holes should be, but I had to drill through them to put my sway bar on.

yea u need the 99-00 endlinks..they run for a lot at the dealers...i suggest u find a local junkyard that has them. I found them for $25. The other nick nack u should get is a lower tie bar...i like the spoon or benen one...cost around 110-130 bucks

for the beaks kit u will need to drill two holes where the stock holes are on the frame itself, not on the control arm. The holes on the control arm are already pre-drilled.
there are two holes on the frame already where u can put a stock si sway bar on with no drilling needed but u have to drill one hole on each side (above the stock holes location) to mount the beaks kit.

Re: ITR rear sway bar on 98 ex? (SOHC_MShue)
I installed an ITR rear swaybar last weekend on my 99 EK (usdm). My LCA's had the holes for the endlinks.
Parts I had to buy-
ITR rear bar
ITR D-brackets and bushings
99-00 Si rear endlinks
BEAKS kit
If you use the BEAKS kit on an EK, you will have to drill 2 holes in your rear sub-frame. It's not a big deal, and the instructions tell you how to locate and mark the positions to drill.
