ITR exhasut piping on 5th gen ex coupe???
alright, so in a previous post it was brought to my attention that in my search for the correct madrel bent piping for a custom exhaust, that the ITR exhaut is 2.25" mandrel bent. now i knew this, but somehow it escaped my memory . so from what i understand, the ITR exhust piping will fit my 94 civic coupe? i understand that it may be too long on the end an have to be cut but that is fine. i am interested in putting an es oval at the end of it anyways. my question is whether or not the piping will run from the cat (which will be a custom 2.25" high flow unit), along the car, over the suspension, and to the muffler area just like the stock piping would? this would make things a lot easier if it works out. thnaks for any help you guys can give me

if you have a d series motor and the d series cat, you will actually need to add about 4.5" between your cat and you itr exhaust. I just compared this the night before last. If you don't extend it 4.5" the piping where it makes the first 90 degree turn will hit the undercarriage of the car, it won't follow the path that is there for the exhaust.

forgot to mention, if you plan on going with a gutted cat or a test pipe, now is the time to do it, just have a test pipe made 4.5" longer than the stock cat and then it'll all bolt up.

what about for my car, it's a 92 hatchback with a b18b1 motor, and also my stock exhaust had to be modified to be able to connect with the header. What would i have to do to have the itr piping fit?

hmmm, I'm not 100% positive, however, you'll probably need to cut some length off the b pipe where it bolts to the cat and you'll also probably need to cut some length off the piping of the muffler where it bolts up and the actual muffler is probably too big to fit back there, I'd look for a different exhaust cause it would probably turn out to be a complete hack job.
