Re: (DelSolSiR)
They reduce the lifespan of the engine due to the loss of the harmonic balance. They would normally absorb crank harmonics, causing less flex in the crank shaft. But without it, it wears your bearings, damages oil pumps, etc. Fine for a race car (that gets rebuilt alot), but the weight savings could just as easily be acomplish w/ a light weight flywheel. Waste of money IMO.
If you wish to protect your high perfomance investment, one of THESE is your best bet. They have underdrive pulleys on them, and dampns harmonics at every RPM instead of just a specific range (like OEM rubber).

Any chance he has a Del Sol VTEC? My jedi mindpower suggests "Vtec he have not". And chad, his new CTR pulley will help him out with his online races of "will my car with 'x' mods beat this gsr with 'y' mods?"
