Icon4 Issue with windshield wipers on EM1

I haven't logged onto this forum in 7 years But I'm glad the forum is alive and well.

My issue is, on my EM1, when I switch the wipers on, they will go up and stop at a certain point. They will stutter slowly. VERY SLOWLY! And eventually do the full cycle. Its an issue no matter which mode the wipers are in.

I should mention, the car had been sitting up for 4 years before I purchased it, so very likely moisture attacked the electronics, as I had issues with the sunroof and few other things.

If you could point out what might be wrong, I'll check it out. Thanks in advance

I'd try checking the windshield linkages. Start by removing the windshield wipers, then remove the cowl and see if there's anything obstructing movement or needs cleaning.

Not sure if this works, but I attached a video clip.

The wipers move in tiny increments.

Turned out to be a point on the linkage, after I removed it and checked. The point was rusted, so the motor was struggling. Cleaned most of the crap off and sprayed some WD-40. Hopefully the more I use it, it'll repair itself by grinding away the rust.
