Has anyone ever done either an Ipad or a Tablet install on a 98 civic ex? im trying to do one but cant seem to figure out good points or how to even do it.

Are you talking about mounting it directly into the dash to replace the stereo altogether? I've been thinking about doing this myself on my EG. This site sells some cool hardware for connecting the iPad to your speaker setup. It gives you preamp outputs and everything. They also sell some pretty clean looking mounts that let you remove the iPad so you don't have to permanently fix it into your dash.

I datalog using my phone with hondata if that helps your answer. Other than that I can't think of anything that will allow your IPAD to communicate with your car
