intermittent wipers not working - checked and searched - what am i missing
97 civic
intermittent wipers stopped working, so i took the switch out and cleaned the terminals which weren't dirty. i know there is no relay for this function, so what am i missing? switch bad or something i am overlooking. any help appreciated. really annoying with the rain now.

don't have abs om a 97 civic dx and there is a relay but not one alone for the intermittent wipers. everything works but the intermittent part

do you happen to have a helms manual? look at page 23-215
it shows a circuit diagram with an integrated control unit (has built in intermittent wiper relay circuit)
to see if your wiper switch has crapped out, check for continuity for the intermittent swithc position, between terminals 1 and 7, and 3 and 4. i can't really explain it well.

could this be a fuse issue? I'm having the same problem all of a sudden this morning as well. I've also lost my dome lights and my intrument panel wont turn off the door ajar and trunk ajar light, trunk light, Be-be-be-beep sound you car makes when the keys in the ignition is gone too... I'm thinking they all have to be related....

edit... got it figured out by swapping the 7.5A fuse under the dash....
