Intermittent fast blinking turn signal

Intermittent fast blinking turn signal
It's for a stock '96 Civic CX.
I have been experiencing intermittent issues with the turn signal blinking fast on the right turn signal. I replaced the bulb last Tuesday and it worked...until it started blinking fast yet again. It worked fine the next day and stayed that way until early this afternoon when it started blinking again with the right headlight turn signal not lighting up.
Hazards work perfectly fine so I tested that, so I'm stumped. What's the usual culprit for this annoyance?

Solved the problem! That damn bulb was loose and kept coming off of the socket. I got it in good and no more fast blinking thankfully! Mods close thread as it has outlived its usefulness. Thanks again civic402lx for your help though.

No problem. I feel stupid for making this thread thinking that this was a unique issue compared to the other threads on the same topic (I searched prior to making the thread) when it turned out to be the same thing. But hindsight's always 20/20 so it is what it is.
