Default Intermediate shaft noise? Wheel bearing?

Aloha everyone. I jus got this 99 em1 with 127k and runs and drives great but I notice wen I drive and accelerate, it sounds ds like I have some mo ster truck tires on haha. I did notice wen I grabbed the intermediate shaft, it had much more play than I thought, haven't had time to check da play by grabbing the tires but but anyone have any Instances with this? I did switch my stance wheels with stocks n same thing.

So you go under the car grab in the axle... But can't jack it up and look for play? If the half shaft is moving while on the ground, it's probably safe to say that it's bad tho.

Your intermediate shaft has play? It shouldn't have any play at all...

Found it to be the rear passenger wheel bearing, wen I had the car in the air, I just noticed some movement from the driver axle side that slips into the intermediate shaft. The intermediate shaft seems fine thou, I was jus wondering if in the air, a lil play in and out is normal? Like an 1/8 of an inch
