Ok heres the situation and i need some advice asap. I just sold my jdm b16 in a94 coupe so i could buy my roomates fully built ls/vtec. He was still waiting to find a car but it was a done deal....until sunday when the car was totaled. So now here the problem i have about 8,500 to play with . Im buying another 92-95 civic and im doing another swap. Now he will sell me the ls/vtec motor out of the totaled car and it runs fine for about 2800(he spent over 9000 building it right). OR should i get a hmotors GSR?OR H22 or go back to the b16 and turbo it??? those are some option give me some feedback ASAP THANKS

What did he do to his LSvtec that cost him 9,000? It better be damned fast for that much money.

That motor is a us spec ls block with substanial work done to it, the head is a ported polsihed milled and diamond decked and it was converted to single stage vtec rather then dual it was dynod @ 220 whp with and evo 2 exhaust and an intake BUT it was in an accident ... Do you think that did any damage.....it started right up after the accident though......just dont know and yessss it was wicked when it was alive

Was it a front end collision? And if so, did it push the engine into the firewall or anything like that?? Basicly, how bad of a crash was it..

Thats how wierd this is.....it was a front end headon with an impala and the motor was cocked on a 45% angle not like completely sideways but pushed alil bit. The headers,ac and rad took the brunt of it and a weld broke on the tranny. But the next day it wasnt leaking ne oil and when the chain was put around the block and pulled the motor forward it started right up and idles perfectly in the smashed car.....wierd.....problems down the road??? or should i go for a diff swap??
