Interchangeable VTEC wiring harnesses?
OK. I have searched on this, and found nothing.
My car is a 1993 Civic CX hatch, made in Canada, but US-spec.
I am wondering if a Civic SI wiring harness, like a 93-94 would work to wire up a B18C from a GSR. I can get the SI harness from a totaled SI, engine bay and under dash, but I don't want to waste my time if it won't work.
I don't want to have the hastle of having to run wires for the VTEC on the GSR motor.
I know, however, that all 92's and Canadian 93's had the VTEC harness under the dash already. Is this for Canadian-spec only, or Canadian-built?
Someone help me out!

Come on guys. I know that I might have to change connections for the B18C, but will the harness itself work without having to wire all the crap for VTEC?

yes it'll work just fine, you will have to convert it to OBD1 if the GS-R ECU is OBD1, if it is OBDII you can also have an OBDII on your CX.
I would stick with OBD1 and eliminate the secondary o2 sensor.
