What is the biggest size intercooler I can go without having to cut anything on my 2000 si?

Keep in mind that, unless you're interested purely in aesthetics or you're running an extremely high-power turbo setup, bigger doesn't necessarily equal better. I would suggest concentrating on finding a properly sized IC for your application, rather than trying to squeeze in the largest one possible.

exactly depending on your setup, you would prolly even be safe with a sidemount IC
