Re: Integra Cluster in 98 Civic (Nick_SI)
ok kewl also anyway to cover the Si on the right circle and I have a lower redline i believe with the ls motor. or do i just get some gauge overlays to cover the Si and maybe add some red bars to make a lower redline so its more eye friendly to me and so i dont forget on those long days?

if you need help wiring it. Let me know i have done this practically 3 times, once on my car and 2 times helping other people. Also i found the wiring diagrams just a tad bit off. I guess it is different betweeen gsr and ITR and year cause some say it is kosher and others say some of the wires are off. I helped with the wiring diagram at fifthgearonline.com and that is the one that is correct for my car.

"The Integra gauge cluster does not directly bolt into the Civic. However it will bolt in if you get a couple thin strips of metal. They should be about 1.5 inches long and 3/4 inch wide. A hole needs to be drilled at either end of the metal strips. It may be necessary to bend the metal strips to get the cluster in the desired position. Once you get the cluster resting snug in the dash put the black plastic cover thing back on and it should fit nicely."

technically yeah but i don't even have mine bolted in and it looks fine, i never got around putting the straps in but it is fine so i might not even do it. Later

Re: Integra Cluster in 98 Civic (FifthGear)
ok kewl I dont have the cluster yet so i cant see it in front of me, Where do those thin strips of metal go when you put them in.
also I am planning on getting the gauge cluster bezel (black bezel that holds 2 gauges) from autometer will that fit with the new cluster?

Re: Integra Cluster in 98 Civic (foozball-26)
i never put those metal straps in.....its just sitting in there. I think that the new bezel will hold it in there fine. I would just rest the cluster in there like i have it, put your bezel in and see how it is. If its tight enought then i wouldnt worry about the straps, but if it seems overly loose, then i would find a way to strap it down
