intake manifold D15B7?
so i got a D15B7 in my 93 Del Sol S *shame* i know. anyways i was thinking i might be ableto get some more power out of it with a new (bigger?) intake manifold? is this theory of mine true? and if it is, what manifold shall i get and where can i get it for a pretty good price? how else could i make my car a little faster, im already planning on VTECing it. except for that, except for boosting it, what are ways of making my car faster?
thanks for your time

i have the same car, i choose to keep mine stock for now(personal reasons) i think you can bolt on a D16 I/M but double check cause i may be wrong. get and intake, exhuast, header. gets you good power for a low price. if you dont want to boost maybe look into a starter nitrous kit or save up a little bit and get a swap

The other guys is right, all D series intake manifolds will bolt up. Don't go any bigger than those though, because you'll just be losing torque until your engine has some internal modification done. You can find a z6 or y8 manifold in the classifieds for dirt cheap.
What do you mean you're "VTECing" it? Just so you know, the only way to add vtec to a non-vtec engine is to remove the head and install one from a vtec motor. If you do you'll have the upgraded manifold anyway. You didn't think you could just add/cut a wire or change the ecu or bolt on a vtec solenoid, did you? Lots of people seem to think it will give them m4d vt4ck...
EDIT: your last post wasn't there when I replied.

Well if you really don't want to go boost or nitrous and you just want a little more power without getting too involved, I'd say go for a z6 head and do a mini me. Along with that, do i/h/e/ intake manifold like you mentioned, and maybe even a cam or something. At least you could do all that w/the engine in the car.

no, i know that. i got a Y8 head sitting in the back of my trunk waiting to be rebuillt, but here is the problem that me, and anyone else most likely has....no money. and i know i need to swap the head, ECU, cam, etc. dont wry, i know its not just a wire for "m4d vt4ck"
