Default Intake Fitment QUESTION

My friend has a 1995 civic DX auto. Will the 96-00 intake fit on his car?

If the throttle body is going to leave the intake tube laying flat, then yes, it will. Also is the stock airbox passenger side front of the engine bay? Thats where the filter is going to end up.

yes because it is only a short ram intake, so it will fit on that particular model.

I dont know if this is the same as ex's but theres a sensor that plugs into the 96+, where as 92-95 dont have it. My g/fs has a short ram on her 97 EX and it had a extra hole for a sensor. But like i said i dont know if it applies to the DX model.

check the engine bay. you can tell visually. and yes, if thats for a 96, its a pipe with 2 holes: 1 for the rubber hose to go to the valve cover (breather) and 2, for the air temp sensor, and if you dont have this in your stock intake pipe, then plug the hole.

The AEM's come with rubber nipples/grommets to plug all the holes in the pipe if you dont have any use for any of them anyways. Wow thats alot of any's for one sentence.
