Solder it and remove the ECU when soldering, to eliminate any risk of overheating the board.

follow the directions and make sure that you splice into the correct wire.. make a good connection using soldier and electrical tape.. and then make sure the vafc is setup correctly before you start or run the car.. its really not that hard to do at all, i got mine installed in less than 1 hour

Just buy one of these and use it then you don't have to solder or mess up any of your own wiring.
Just plug and play. This is what I plan on getting so that it will save me some time and probably headache.

VAFC is INSTALLED! no CEL...
but only thing i notice is that i had idle surge for short while....but then its ok..
