installed my skunk2 sohc cam
I just switched from a zex 59100 to a skunk2 sohc cam in my d16z6. This is just a grocery getter but I was pretty impressed with the skunk2 cam. My car feels better at every rpm and has a nice smooth idle. The vtec x-over is very noticeable at 5k rpm's and the car has a really good boost in the top end. The zex cam worked o.k. (alot better than a crower2 I tried for a week) but after 52,000 miles it was starting to pitt pretty bad so it was time to buy a new cam. It cost $100 more than the zex but I'm pretty happy with it. Just thought I would share.

Re: installed my skunk2 sohc cam (petty$rep)
I milled the head .030, ported it, and installed a skunk2 im about 6 months ago. Besides that it only has an intake and a header. I'm going to throw a high comp block together soon just because mine has so many miles on it. I would love to put in on a dyno soon to tune it but I might wait till after I install the block. Powerwise if feels very similar to my old b16, curious to see how the dyno's would stack up.
