Installed my JDMshit.com Carbon hood and duckbill
Just finished install them. I have a few thoughts on them.
First off the prices are great... cant believe you can get this **** so cheap.
My feelings on the wing: Fits just like everyone elses pics... I think the top "deck" surface of the wing is a little too high, sits up higher then the roof of the car but whatever its acceptable.
My feelings on the hood: GREAT FIT AND FINISH. But I do have 2 complaints about it. 1: Its really not that light. Definatly lighter then stock, but I have seen much much lighter hoods and I could care less if I need hood pins or not.
2nd complaint... the "frame" underneath is barely attached to the bottom of the "sheet" well. The hood is extremely flexible which I dont know if its a good thing or not... but the way I feel about it is what is the point of the bottom frame if its not even glued to the hood except in the corners... look in the pic below and you can see how I can pull the frame away from the hood with no effort at all.
Also see in the pics how my girlfriend can put very little pressure on the hood and how it flexes in. I dont really care as long as it doesnt start to flutter at high speed or something.
I am satisfied with my purchase. Their customer service was AWESOME and my **** was shipped out ASAP and like I said the hoods fit and finish is beautifully flawless. Just thought it was a little heavy and a little flimsy considering its a little heavy.

I will sell the stock hood for $40 + shipping. Basically you can have the hood but I want $40 to take the time to package it.
However... it is not flawless. There are a couple little dings that I can probably have my friend who does paintless dent removal take out. The paint is swirled to all hell.
PM me if you want it.

Man, that hood looks flimsy as hell. Is that the stiffness of the typical c/f hood?
Let us know how it holds up at highway speeds.
Hatch looks clean

yea every other carbon hood i seen is stiff as ****... im not sure what is the deal with this hood it looks so damn good tho i want to keep it... im gonna see what happens when i glue the back frame to the underside of the hood how it should have been to begin with and see if that takes care of this.
its definatly wierd tho its like spongy feeling.
