Installed my "Spoon" Clutch slave hose today!!! Verdict: ???
Thought this might be interesting...
I recently went to my local Earl's performance shop to have a clutch hose made up similiar to the Spoon one, since the Spoon one doesn't fit USDM cars. It was only about $20 after all was said and done. Not much more than the oem rubber hose.
Anyways, I installed it, flushed my clutch line fluid, bled the system and I was done. So I took it for a drive. The clutch felt smooth, but I think it was due to the fact that I bled the system and put in new fluid.
Verdict: Save your money on this mod. Unless you are racing, it probably won't make a difference. I can't imagine, even in race conditions that the clutch system would overheat like the brakes to warrant a ss line.
Here is a picture of Shawn Hiller's EK with the clutch line... it is the small line in the lower left corner with blue/red fittings....

I think if you have never changed the fluid in the clutch system, you probably should. I just tested it with cheap Castrol Dot 3/4 fluid and it felt better. I think I am going to try some racing brake fluid and see if it makes a difference.
Bleeding the clutch system is easy. I did the new clutch line and bleed the system by myself in about 20 minutes. Thanks to proper tools...

So if my brake and clutch fluids are BLACK, that would be a good time to change them I take it...

Yep, the Earl's place of the 405 at the Hawthorne exit. They made it up in a matter of minutes.
For all those driving around with dirty clutch and brake fluid, it might be a good time to change it!!!!

BTW, that isn't my car.... I don't like showing pics of my car on the internet.

You flush and bleed the clutch master, in the exact same way you bleed your brakes.
I'm glad to hear you're trying to learn how to do more work on your car.

Actually a Spoon header is a pretty mild B series header.
