Installation of adj. fuel pressure regulator + Gauge into 96 Coupe w/GSR SWAP

Default Installation of adj. fuel pressure regulator + Gauge into 96 Coupe w/GSR SWAP

Installation of AC fuel pressure regulator + Gauge:

Tools required:
open ended wrench set
Thread tape seal
Vacuum hose 3 feet
Fuel return hose 3 feet 1/4" or 6.4 mm
AC Autotechnic Fuel pressure regulator + Gauge
AC Autotechnic Fuel rail adapter.
Cold Beer.

1. OPEN GAS TANK CAP. Remove stock fuel pressure regulator with vacuum hose and return line.


2. Remove O-ring from old regulator and place into new fuel rail adapter.



3. Bolt on new fuel rail adapter to where the old fuel pressure regulator was.

REMEMBER TO apply thread seal tape to the following steps!!!
4. Attach fuel return hose to the OUT port of AC fuel pressure regulator.

5. As well as the hose from the IN port regulator. You can see the new fuel rail adapter bolted on the right of the AC fuel rail.



6. Bolt fuel pressure regulator on inner right fender (driver side).

7. Attach hoses. The OUT hose goes back down into the return line.
The IN house attaches to the Fuel rail adapter. The vacuum hose attached to the intake manifold.


8. Screw in gauge, with wrench on the bolt, do not turn the gauge itself.

Mechnical gauge, holds up really well. The products we sell we put them in our cars.

Nice write up, but why not just replace the o-ring as well???

the O-ring was new, and did not find any leaks anywhere. so we stuck with it
