Inspection Help
Ok so when i bought my car the speedo was bad it would stay at zero at all times even when im doing like 80mph... it was the cluster itself because i had checked everything it was the original cluster and read 210k miles... now i swapped in a new one and everything works fine but it reads 145k and i have to inspect my car... i heard that i can get into serious trouble at the dmv for swapping the cluster to a lower mileage is this tru its in NJ what should i do my inspection is in 2 days?

The Honda dealership should be able to roll it back for you.
As long as you show proper documentation it should be fine.

I drove my car for 3 weeks when my inspection expired and it wouldn't pass because of electrical problems - cops really don't care unless they're doing a road check (towards the end of the month) - and even then, they usually just check colors.
Honda dealership should be able to match the #'s.

not roll it back i mean roll it forward cuz the motor has 210k and the new cluster reads 145k... and i was thinking of going to the dmv and trying to get away with it... because if the car has not been inpected in the last couple years theres a slim chance that their last inspection was before 145k miles
