Innovative 96-00 Civic Driver's Side Replacement Mount Question...
If i use the innovative 96-00 civic driver side mount(60a street) can i use all the other stock OEM honda motor mounts??? It's for my 99' EM1, the stock driver mount is fuct. I would get the whole kit but kinda wanna keep the vibrations to a minimum.

My brother and I both use that same exact setup you have described in both of our EK hatches. There is some vibration present at idle but after a week or so I don't even notice it anymore. We also replaced the rest of the mounts with all new oem mounts while we had our motors out.

if your em1 is stock i personally would just replace it with a stock honda mount. my girl has a 99 si with skunk2 intake manifold, aem short ram, dc header and act solid disk/sprung hub. i replaced her mounts with stocks 10k miles ago and they hold up just fine (i beat on it constantly )

the driver side mount is the best investment that you can make dont replace it with a stock pos mount

Thanks man. Stock driver mount=Garbage. It has a thick layer of rubber around it and hollow on the inside with hydraulic fluid in there...FTL.

The stock mount sucks, if i replaced it with the oem one again i would have to replace it in another 6 mounts...[freak] that.

Thanks man , i have to replace the rear mount also. Im just gonna go to advance auto parts to get the rear mount(lifetime warranty...YAY)something that honda doesnt offer on there own parts...HaHa.Im kinda stoked to see how it feels. I hate how it jerks while down shifting and letting off throttle.

Thanks to everyone, this seems like a good DD motor mount set-up.

i installed innovative 60a d/s mount on my ek4 for a day with rest being oem mounts (3 new and 1 used)
vibration at idle on cold starts is quite high, once warm and stationary its still very noticeable and little annoying, personally think a lower rating mount should be offered for street/dd
i now run 1 rear new oem mount and upper 2 are innov 60a with 2 lower torque mounts removed, vibration on cold starts is pretty bad and quite annoying once warm when stationary
my car is a dd but going more towards weekend car hence my choice of mounts

It could'nt be that bad with all oem mounts and the innovative 60a d/s mount. But i guess they should offer a 40a bushing. I just emailed them about that...haha.

Re: (brianmcivics)
everyone has their own preferences and limits as to what they think is excessive etc, i personally think even the 60A have excessive vibration while others dont
as for innovative customer service , complete joke, once youve bought their product they dont wanna know or offer any advice or help
not sure you can buy individual mounts though but sure a vendor will accomodate you
