Inner fender removal / clips

Inner fender removal / clips
What's the trick to removing the clips that hold the inner fender in place without breaking them?
Can't find this tidbit in the service manual.
If/when I do break them, where can I get replacements?
I'm looking at starting a road noise abatement project on my 97 Civic Coupe ('cause it'll go another 100k and I want to be able to enjoy the radio at 70mph without going deaf).

Yeah, they are plastic like screw things. Really easy to remove.
