well like the title states i am not getting any spark what so ever.
quick rundown. I have a eg with a b20

I have already checked to see if im getting spark by pulling out a spark plug wire and putting a spark plug inside and held it 1/4 away from many different grounds and nothing.

1) I bought another dizzy and still nothing
2) bought new wires
3) new main relay
4) tried two of my friends ecus that are in good working condition
5) checked all fused under dash and under hood and all are good
6) checked all my grounds and they are all good

I also thought maybe both my dizzys were bad so i tried the new one on my friends car and his car stars right up??? Im lost ive tried everything in my knowledge and i cant figure out why i aint getting any spark.

Ive searched for days and couldnt find anything helpful.
Maybe someone can help me out.

check the ignition coil.
if you checked all that then it may be the coil. check it out

how can it be my ign coil if i put my dizzy on my friends car and it turned on fine and it was giving spark.

oh you put the entire dizzy.
well if you held a spark plug away from a ground and it didnt spark then maybe your battery is dead. or one of your battery wires is lose or corroded

um, i bought a new battery and even tried one from my other car. no wires are corroded. and i didnt hold a spark plug away from a ground i held it near a ground to see if i seen a blue spark.

well thats what i meant since your not going to hold up right up against the ground.

Did you try to crank the car when you had the spark plug out?

you mean spark plug wire or the actual spark plug?

ok got a couple of questions, harness is in good condition, ? no clipped/ shorting wires, 2nd any type of alarm with a starter kill or any ingnition cut off switchs? and are you completely sure its spark?? try what MI4$DC5 saysl take a plug out of the head, keep it attached to the plug wire and have someone crank it over, see if there is a spark from the plug. if everything ealse is fine like you stated maybe a bad ignition switch? work from the motor backwards.

yes harness is in good cond. no clipped or taped up wires what so ever, yes i have a viper 5900 remote start alarm and i got it installed prefessionally at a reputable shop. had it for about 6 months with no problems. and yes im completely sure its a spark.....I have already taken a plug and connected it back into the spark plug wire and attached it close to a ground to see if i see any kind of spark and nothing. not even a lil sign of spark.
And about the ignition switch how will that cause me not to get a spark?

damn id help but it seems like the best way to figure it out is by yourself
or let soimeone else check it out, asometimes u miss the small tyhings

did you just swap this engine in ur eg? or did this just happen all of a sudden?

well i had another motor in there and it did the same thing, i had a b20 running in another car so i swapped it out and put it in my eg thinking it was the timing on my other motor but when i took a look at my other motor the timing was fine.

This happend over night and day about not getting spark.

hey sometimes the main relay goes on and off. it gets old and solder points wear out
id flip those with ur freinds and see if that fixes, im sure its a relay

Is your fuel pump priming when you turn the key? I had a similar problem with my car but was not getting spark or fuel. There was a ground from the harness that bolted to the tranny that broke and was causing my problems.

Ive already swapped out Main relay with my buddies and also tried mine on his car and it worked, My fuel pump is priming for sure i can hear it. All my grounds are good, i even sanded them all down just for the hell of it. and still nothing

I might have to just tow my shyt to a shop.
