Mine was at least lowered. But yeah, pretty much stock, just trying to help the OP out though.

I paid 3800 for a si with brand new 350z paint mint black interior with GSR grey leathers with crisp si rims with a b16 swap. I think I got a good deal personal even though I had to fix some hacking with the lights and dash wiring which cost me little to nothing. I did a compression test on my b16 and I was getting 210 each cylinder so I got a good motor which is very rare in a swapped civic at that but I was told I had a b16 trans and come to find out it was a ls but oh well..

Thank you for all your help and advice. I still can't find any stock ones and the modded ones are terrible. Just stupid kids putting fart cans on them and trying to get 3500 for them! But I will keep on lookin. Also I'm trying to sell my crx to get some of the money for it. I don't know if anyone knows crx in this thread, but what do you guys thing a 90 crx si with a terrible body great interior and a nice b16a swap is worth? Also if anyone finds any hatchs in the Tampa/ Clearwater (Florida) area please tell me!!

Just take your time like others have said and you will find a good deal from someone that doesn't care about jacking the price up because they know its a popular car. For instants I looked for about 2.5 weeks finally found a completely stock teal 94 cx 5spd, clean car fax report (ie. no accidents), 148k, no rust, and a one small door ding on the drivers side from a nice young lady for $1,700.

Got my '92 CX b16 for 2500... motor was just barely broken in from a full rebuild, but the body was and still is a total piece of ****

however, i think it has a lot to do with where you're buying them

a couple of my friends have gotten them in awesome condish for 2-3k in central/southern indiana 'cause there's really no market for early 90s honda hatchbacks

i got my 93 dx 159k on the motor/chassis, mint interior, ac, and 2 small rust spots in the corner for $3200 from a dealer. i was in a rush to find a white hatch for my swap so i paid it.

but no matter what you pay for it when you buy it, it'll cost you everything you put into it when it gets STOLEN.... its inevitable that hatches will be stolen, unless you live in bumblefuck... had mine for less than 2 years! didn't even need to reinspect cause it got jacked

keep it locked up when you do get it.

I got my Si for $2500. It was a theft recovery -- perfect interior (just some hacked up stereo wiring -- can't really tell if the stereo was stolen or some idiot kid just thought he knew how to install one), engine and trans still intact (save for some cheeseball intake and header), and different-colored fenders and bumper. I just spent $300 for all the parts to return it back to stock, then a quick respray and I'm good. I realize it was probably a lot to pay for an Si with a stripped front-end, but parts are cheap and I don't mind painting the thing, and I wanted an EG Si and this was all I could find that didn't have a damned engine swap.

Thanks for all your tips. To KiddEng I have heard that they are one of the most stolen cars so I would definitely get a crazy alarm. What is everyone else doing about security for their hatchs?

3k for my 95 VX 130k miles 100% stock...looked mint when I bought it, now after 3+ yrs of road winter salt, there is some fender rust.

Kinda thinking of selling for round 1,500-2,200, stock 200xxx miles. New WP, TB, Alt Belt, all 4 brakes and tires, new thermostat/1 yr old radiator, has A/C. Think its fesible?
