make sure all fuel lines are properly connected...

99% of the time, this is caused by a bad gas-cap or the fact that it's not TIGHTED enough, therefore allowing no vacuum

The 96 ek, if it is a hatch, does not have the PTANK sensor some specific models have them, but most do not that year. I am actually doing some research now with the help of "acuracing" to see what is required to add it to my 96cx. I am just using a JDM ecu at this point, so I dont see that CEL.

its a 96 dx hatchback. Should i just tell my friend to use jumper and use a stock obd1 ecu instead of the us obd2 ecu?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by AVRj00neALLrace &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">its a 96 dx hatchback. Should i just tell my friend to use jumper and use a stock obd1 ecu instead of the us obd2 ecu?</TD></TR></TABLE>

that is definetly an option I would consider.
