certain grounds will make items not function.. Sometimes it will also cause your car not to start..

What ground isnt hooked up?

if he doesn't believe you, just disconnect the ground from the tranny to the frame of the car and tell him to try starting it...then ask him if he believes you now...works everytime for me against tools who think they know more than me...btw, if something goes wrong, don't blame me...haha...

yea he had the ground wire on his power steering bracket... and his car wouldnt start.... then i moved it to the valve cover and it started... but now the starter is pretty much fucked from him having it like that

I'll simplify it best I can..

grounds complete circuits, circuits are needed to power something.. If your fuse box isn't grounded, then everything that has a fuse that runs through that box won't be grounded and won't work.. etc. etc. etc.

If a ground that grounds out ur distributor isn't connector, ur car won't run..
