Idle is weird..blown head gasket??? EM1
hey i got a em1 and i dont abuse it, just a DD
every now and then when i start the car in the morning, the rpm stays at 2000rpm and doesnt come down at all. so i have to turn it off and turn it back on and then it idles fine. usually the idle is about a line or 2 under the 1000rpm mark. today however, it was below that, it was about halfway between the 1000 rpm and 0. i could feel the car lag when i gas. i was thinking maybe its cuz i didnt warm it up completely but even if i didnt it shouldnt do that right?
also, i checked my spark plugs, and the 4th one has some oil around the tip on the black rubber part. does this indicate a blown head? and like before i mentioned, my car is just DD, the only time i can recall abusing it was i accidently went a little bit above 80000rpm in 3rd gear when merging onto freeway, however that was just once and thats it.
thanks for any clues

The throttle cable or the throttle plate may be sticking. Also try cleaning the IACV.
The oil is likely from a leaky valve cover seal, which should be replaced.
