idle problems with my hatch...
i have a 95 cx with a d15b7 and just three days ago, my idle has started jumping a lot.
it'll fluctuate between 800 and 1200 whenever i come to a stop, it even turned off on me six times.
what could it be?

Re: idle problems with my hatch...
if it happens only when you first start it, its the fast idle thermal valve. if it happens once it gets up to temp its the idle air control valve. if it happens all the damn time its both. .. or it could be air in the coolant.
but this usually wont make the car shut off, if its idling so low to shut the car off it might have skipped a tooth on the timing belt, or your dizzy is going out.
