Idle problem and low torque.
Hi, I got a 2000 Civic Dx coupe and i got a couple problems.
When I start the car it idles at around 1k rpms which I find normal, then after a good drive it idles anywhere from 500-100 rpms and it feels like the car is about to die on me. I cleaned the throttle body and now, I get lower torque and the gas pedal is not quick to respond like it used to. Anyone know whats wrong? Did I mess up the throttle body when I cleaned it? Thanks.

Re: Idle problem and low torque.
check your idle air controle valve. make sure your fully topped up with coolant. make sure the throttle body is sealed up and you may want to replace the fuel filter it maybe clogging up. did you fiddle around with anything before the car start acting up or just out of the blue?
