Idle issues with my b18c1
I've had the swap in my EK sedan for a few years and I always thought the idle issue was due to the lightweight Hawker battery (very small) I had put in there... so recently I decided to put a factory sized battery back in, and I put in a full aluminum half size radiator and new hoses. No leaks or anything. So, to my knowledge, I've taken care of any performance problems that I thought I had.
Now, the problem. The idle drops so low sometimes when I have the clutch in that the car will occasionally shut off. The motor is completely stock, aside from basic bolt ons. Intake. 2.25" exhaust with removed cat. OBD-I conversion so no second o2 sensor to worry about with the cat being gone. Walbro 255 fuel pump (used to have a turbo motor). Race radiator. Occasionally the car will throw a CEL but it always goes away after I turn the car off and isn't there when I turn the car back on. Not even for a second.
So I gave you guys the basics of the situation. I didnt personally do the swap myself but I've done all the work on it since the motors been in. ANY ideas? This has been going on for a while now. I would just mess with the idle adjustment screw but I want to see what everyone thinks before I do that.

Re: (civycoop)
when does the idle drop low? only after the engine is warm? and where does it normally idle at when its warm? If the idle is always low then it probably needs and idle adjustment, but if the probably is not constant it could be a problem with the IACV
