Default idle high...just a little

I just installed an ex cluster in my dx and found it idles at 1,000 rpm..

is that high and how might i lower it?? there is no cel codes at the moment


instead of starting a new thread I figured I would ask here....so what factory options do I have for a cd player the car is a 96

factory idle is like 800-1000 for auto
4-600 for manual i think

if u wanna lower it you could adjust your idle screw on the Throttle body orrrr.. mess with the throttle cable .. id adjust your screw..

im assuming your car is mostly stock right?

its totally stock I just played with the cable and now its about 800..BTW the car is manual

so then screw your idle screw in a little and it should lower accordingly
