IACV Woes
Hey everyone,
So a few months ago I swapped out my d15 for a d16 with a stage 2 cam, p29 pistons, etc. I've been using the P06 ECU since the swap. Today, I got my P28 back from being chipped. I plugged it in and now I'm throwing a CEL 14.
Is the wiring for the IACV different on the p28 that it would be the p06?
When I run the P06, the car runs great with no CELs. However, when I use the P28, it idles REALLY low almost to the point of snubbing out.
Anyone have any ideas?

So I just took the IACV off and cleaned it up.....it was filled with carbon buildup.....however, the problem still stands.

I took it out around the block.....It'll keep idling at about 1k....however, unless you mash the pedal to the floor, it'll rev bounce at 1500 and then shoot up from there.

Re: IACV Woes
i just traded shells with a buddy and i had a eg6 and now have an ek9 hatch and the wiring harness was hacked... i put my poor mans itr in and it ran like ****... i fixed everthing and soldered every wire and im throwing codes 3 + 14 so map sensor and, IACV... my question is on OBD2A at the ECU there is a positive wire, negative wire, and a signal wire for the IACV but only 2 wires at the IACV plug???? WTF where does the other wire go?? lol i really need a wiring diagram for this...

Re: IACV Woes
So I guess the problem can be caused by an IACV driver corruption on a chip on the ECU. At least that's what Phearable told me.
